Perencanaan Tebal Perkerasan Lentur (Flexible Pavement) Pada Jalan Karet Desa Karya Indah Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRAK
Transportation is a very important sector in supporting economic growth. The
existence of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure makes relations
between regions smoother. Jalan Karet is a local road with a road length of 1 (one)
kilometer with a road width of 7 meters, which connects the Banyan road and
Garuda Sakti road, currently Karet road as a whole is still a dirt road, at STA 0+00
to 0+1000 it is still in the form of subgrade, so that when the rainy season arrives,
it causes inundation of water and hampers the function of services as transportation
infrastructure. The data needed in this plan are the CBR (California Bearing Ratio)
and LHR (Average Daily Traffic) data on the roads being reviewed. Based on the
results of the flexible pavement design, the surface layer using the Laston material
was obtained, the thickness of the pavement layer was 11.25 cm. Top Foundation
layer using Class A crushed stone material obtained pavement thickness is 20 cm.
Meanwhile, the Lower Foundation Layer using Sirtu / Pitrun Stone Material Class
B obtained a pavement layer thickness of 10 cm.
