Evaluasi Kerusakan Jalan Soekarno Hatta Kota Dumai Dengan Metode Pavement Condition Index (Pci)

ABSTRACT
Soekarno Hatta Dumai city’s road is a national road and is a Dumai-Duri causeway. In addition, the surrounding area as a center of industry and tourism. Where it has a road length of ± 15 kilometers, a lane width of 8 meters. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of damage and find out the index value of the bending pavement condition on Soekarno Hatta Dumai city’s road using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. The study was conducted into 8 segments with a size of 300 meters per segment.
The results of the analysis showed that the damage to Soekarno Hatta Dumai city’s road included longitudinal cracks, holes, patches, block cracks, alligator crack, grain removal, transverse cracks, bumpy and slippage cracks. The average index value for Soekarno Hatta Dumai city’s road STA 00 + 000 - STA 02 + 400 left is 85,50 with Very Good road conditions, on Soekarno Hatta Dumai city’s road STA 00 + 000 - STA 02 + 400 right is 59 with Good road conditions. So it is necessary to handle road damage so that the damage that has occurred to road sections does not become more severe so as to reduce the accident rate and provide a sense of security and comfort for road users
