ABSTRACT
Certain chicken eggs are a rich source of nutrients. This increasing demand comes with high expectations of having good quality eggs. Egg consumers will buy eggs with good quality, therefore the egg production industry is expected to provide the best possible service in maintaining the quality of eggs to be sold. But sometimes consumers get eggs that are not edible or of poor quality. Bad eggs can be caused by bacteria from outside or old eggs. Under these conditions, the chicken egg production industry needs to first check the eggs before they are sold. Therefore, in this study, a device for detecting the quality and sorting of eggs was made using the LDR sensor which functions to determine the quality of good and bad eggs. By making this tool, it is hoped that industry and breeders can make it easier to sort based on quality.
