ABSTRACT The rapid development of technology in the current era of globalization has provided many benefits in progress in various aspects of social life. The use of technology by humans in helping to complete work is a must in life. Garbage is one of the complex problems faced by developing countries as well as developed countries in the world, including Indonesia. Garbage that can be found is garbage that is on the surface of the water. The garbage cleaning drone uses the NodeMCU as the main controller which is shaped like a robot boat. In this final project, communication between the cleaning drone and an Android-based smartphone as a motion controller uses a wi-fi connection. On the front of the drone is equipped with a garbage filter. The author hopes that this tool can help human work, especially in cleaning plastic waste in rivers, swimming pools and ponds. The percentage of success reaches 100% from 10 trials, the furthest distance is 9 meters with a pairing time of 9.25 seconds. Keywords:NodeMcu,Hp,drone
