Analisis Stopping Sets Untuk Internet-Of-Things (Iot) Berbasis Coded Random Access (Cra) Dan Multi User Detection (Mud)
Coded Random Access (CRA) is a suitable scheme to enable successful wireless access on super-dense networks for the Internet of Things (IoT) with a very large number of users. However, CRA has a problem of the occurance of stopping sets as a consequence of the random transmission from each device. Some data packets are trapped in the stopping set and are impossible to be detected by the iterative decoding. This final project analyzes: (i) the pattern of stopping sets for CRA with multiuser detection (MUD), (ii) the probability of the occurrence of stopping sets, and (iii) the effect of stopping sets on the performances of IoT based on CRA and MUD forfuture superdense IoT network. This final project performs as series ofcomputer simulations to evaluate practical stopping sets probability using a samples taken from 1 million trials. This final project obtained several patterns of stopping sets with highest occurring probability of is 0.9787 percent at K = 2, 0.0418 percent at K = 3, and 0.0081 percent at K = 4.
