Desain Dan Analisa Blade Turbin Horizontal Tipe Propeller Pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu.
At this time, the use of new renewable energy sources has been widely used, one of them is wind energy which is utilized through the Wind Power Plant (PLTB) system. The advantages of this generating system are it has low emissions and is environmentally friendly. Basically PLTB has a working principle as a means of converting wind energy into mechanical energy of a turbine which will be connected to the generator rotor to be converted back into electrical energy. Low of efficiency and the availability of potential wind make it not always available, it will be a problem that often arise in the use of this system. Therefore, the authors conducted research and design of the 3-dimensional blade shape and determined the NACA airfoil to be applied to a certain area with the help of the Q-blade application. This design is carried out by processing the available wind data for one year to obtain the average wind speed value as one of the design parameters. This design is carried out so that the mechanical power generated by the turbine has a maximum value. This design is also carried out using power requirements parameters so that the system can be adjusted in terms of the desired power generation. In this study it was found that the blade design was worked well, it can be seen from the turbine power generated by the turbine rotation = 28.075 watt.
