Analisis Koordinasi Over Current Relay (Ocr) Dan Ground Fault Relay (Gfr) Pada Sistem Jaringan 20 Kv Pltu Tembilahan Dan Gardu Induk Tembilahan
Overcurrent relay is the main protection equipment in the distribution
system, where the relay is installed at many points according to the existing
distribution system. In order for the system to have high quality in the distribution
of electric power, all installed OCR and GFR overcurrent relays must coordinate
with each other where there is a main relay and a backup relay that must be
properly coordinated according to work and zones without causing errors in the
system that can cause losses. This coordination is simulated on ETAP and
produces a current to time coordination curve that will show the working order of
each relay. The largest fault current occurs when a three phase fault is 14.61 kA,
a two phase fault is 12.67 kA and a phase fault to ground is 566 A. The OCR relay
is set based on the short circuit of maximum phase to ground while the GFR relay
is based on the nominal NGR which will distinguish the working area of the two
relays. The coordination of the main relay and the backup relay works according
to the IEEE 242 standard, but some conditions cause the relay not to work
according to the IEEE 242 standard because the magnitude of the fault current is
the same when the fault assumption occurs in different places, all relay work does
not occur at the intersection of the curves which will cause malcoordination.
