Aktivitas Antioksidan Berdasarkan Nilai Ic50 Ekstrak Daun Perepat (Sonneratia Alba) Asal Sapat Kecamatan Kuala Indragiri Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Riau
Perepat plant (Sonneratia alba) is one of the mangrove species that has the potential as a source of antioxidants that is used by the people of Sapat Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of perepat leaf extract at different growing locations. Testing of antioxidant activity was carried out using the DPPH radical scavenging method. The results of testing the antioxidant activity value of perepat leaf shoot extract at land locations obtained an IC50 of 56.89 ppm and an IC50 value at sea location obtained an IC50 of 61.96 ppm. Both samples were categorized as having strong antioxidants. The young leaf extract of perepat at the land location obtained an IC50 of 33.83 ppm and the extract of the young perepat leaf at the marine location obtained an IC50 of 45.61 ppm. Both samples were categorized as having very strong antioxidants. The young leaves of the ground location have the greatest antioxidant activity with an IC50 of 33.83 ppm.
