Pengembangan Media Booklet Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Pada Materi Ekosistem Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep Dan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas X SMA
Biology learning is one of learning that focuses on providing direct experience to grow the abilities possessed by students so that they are able to understand and know about the natural surroundings with critical thinking skills. One of the problems in the 21st century is environmental problems, a lot of environmental damage such as deforestation for arable land, deforestation for housing, increasing waste, waste, and pollution. Problems that exist in everyday life can be linked in Biology lessons with materials that link many disciplines in their studies, for example ecosystems, the environment, and biotechnology. Ecosystem material can teach students to understand the state of the surrounding environment, the consequences or prevention that must be done clearly. So that after learning about ecosystems, students are expected to be able to overcome problems that exist in the natural surroundings with the knowledge that has been obtained in the learning process.
Based on the results of interviews with Biology teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Tapung, information was obtained that learning at the school was still applying conventional learning where learning was still teacher-centered and had not yet reached the stage of developing learning media. The results of the interview obtained information that student learning outcomes, especially in the ability to master concepts, have not been maximized, some students have good concept mastery skills, but some are still lacking and need to be improved. Likewise with students' critical thinking, some students' critical thinking skills are good but there are also those who are lacking and need to be improved. then one way or solution for learning in schools to run well is to develop a learning media. Learning media has a main role, namely being a tool in the teaching and learning process that is arranged or created by an educator. In this study, the media developed was a booklet based on local wisdom. Media Booklet is one of the print media to convey material in the form of interesting summaries and pictures, which can be used as a tool to understand Biology material, especially ecosystem material.
Biology learning has great potential in utilizing the environment as a learning resource. One of them is to explore and study ecosystem materials based on local wisdom in learning. Local wisdom is the noble values that apply in the life of the community to, among other things, protect and manage the environment in a sustainable manner. Local wisdom-based learning is very important for educators to apply in learning that is useful for increasing students' knowledge and understanding as well as a medium to instill a sense of love for local wisdom in their area, planting positive characters according to the noble values of local wisdom and equipping students to face problems outside of school. One form of local wisdom is lubuk prohibition, which is used by the community to preserve river areas with certain limitations and certain rules. The existence of the prohibition pit is an attitude for the preservation of the river ecosystem. Based on

the results of the analysis above, it is necessary to improve the quality of the student learning process, one of which is assisted by the development of learning media that can improve students' mastery of concepts and critical thinking. Researchers formulate solutions to design innovations through the development of booklet media based on local wisdom.
This research consists of two stages, namely the first stage of developing booklet media using Research & Development through the ADDIE approach in the Masters Program of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty, University of Riau, and the second stage of experimentation at SMAN 5 Tapung. The parameters in this study were the quality of the booklet media, mastery of concepts and students' critical thinking. The analysis phase was carried out by curriculum analysis, student needs analysis, material analysis and teaching media analysis. The design stage is carried out by making a media booklet design developed with Microsoft Publisher and learning tools. At the development stage, the validity of the booklet media and research instruments, practicality tests and student response tests were carried out. Then at the implementation stage using the experimental method with a pretest-posttest group design consisting of a control class and an experimental class and in the determination using the normality test and homogeneity test. Then the last stage is the overall evaluation stage of the development of booklet media based on local wisdom.
The media validation stage involved 4 subjects (1 media expert, 1 material expert and 2 pedagogic experts). Feasibility assessment by experts using validation sheets. The practicality test phase involved 2 educators from SMA 5 Tapung. Assessment of the practicality of booklet media using questionnaire responses, data analysis using descriptive analysis assisted by Microsoft Office Excel 2010. The experimental stage is to see the effect of local wisdom-based booklet media developed on students' mastery of concepts and critical thinking. Assessment of students' mastery of concepts and critical thinking using multiple choice questions pretest and posttest. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software.
The results showed that the quality of local wisdom-based booklet media was very good. This can be seen from the average validation result, which is 3.54 with a very valid category, practicality test with a very practical category, and student response tests which show very good.
The results of the experimental stage of the study showed that there was a significant effect because the use of local wisdom-based booklet media on students' mastery of concepts and critical thinking before and after being given treatment, namely in the control class, mastery of concepts before treatment 30.96 categories was very less increased to 69.62 categories. enough after treatment with N-Gain 0.54 moderate category, while in the experimental class 35.14 very poor category to 84 good categories with N-Gain 0.74 high category. Then the critical thinking of students in the control class 19.96 with a very poor category became 67.34 sufficient category after treatment with an N-Gain 0.59 medium category, while in the experimental class 16.96 with a very poor category increased to 81.07 with a category good after treatment with N-Gain 0.77 with high category.
Based on the results of the development and implementation test of local wisdom-based booklet media products, it was found that the quality of local

wisdom-based booklet media was very good, and the increase in mastery of concepts and critical thinking of experimental class students increased significantly compared to the control class.
