Pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Menggunakan Edpuzzle Berbasis Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SLTA

The critical thinking ability of students is still very low, one of which is
caused by the low level of student involvement in the learning process. One of the
efforts to increase student involvement in the learning process is to use relevant
learning media. The media in question can be in the form of learning videos using
Edpuzzle based on Problem Based Learning to improve students' critical thinking
skills on direct current circuit material.
This study aims to develop learning videos using Edpuzzle based on
Problem Based Learning that are valid, practical, and effectively used in
improving students' critical thinking skills on direct current circuit material. This
research was conducted at the Physics Education Laboratory, Riau University.
The research model used in this research is the ADDIE model with the stages of
analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation
(implementation), and evaluation (evaluation).
The videos developed were tested for validity, practicality and
effectiveness. Based on the results of the validity test by material, media, and
pedagogic experts, learning videos using Problem Based Learning-based
Edpuzzle were declared valid with an average rating of 3.81, 3.92, and 3.76.
Meanwhile, the response test was conducted on teachers and students at SMKN 1
XIII Koto Kampar as respondents. Based on the results of the response test with
teachers and students, it was stated that the learning video using Edpuzzle based
on Problem Based Learning was practical with an average rating of 3.86 and
3.44. Based on the results of the effectiveness test to students, it was stated that
the learning video using Edpuzzle based on Problem Based Learning was
declared effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
Thus the learning video using Edpuzzle based on Problem Based Learning
that has been developed has been declared valid, practical and effectively used to
improve students' critical thinking skills.
