ABSTRACT Electrical energy sources are the most widely used sources today. For outdoor activities, the availability of a power source is not easy to find. Because of that, the idea of making a power plant for charging smartphones emerged. The generator is made by using rotary mechanical power with a gearbox to rotate a permanent magnet dc generator. The generator output is connected to the LM2596 step down circuit. Next connected to the charger circuit. From the charger circuit, it can be connected to a smartphone or battery using the selector switch. The generator works well at a minimum rotation of 120 RPM producing an output voltage of 5.2 Volts dc. Keywords: portable dc generator,charger
