Karakteristik Marshall Pada Campuran Asphalt Concerete-Binder Course (Ac-Bc) Dengan Pemanfaatan Kombinasi Limbah Abu Serbuk Kayu Dan Abu Arang Tempurung Kelapa Sebagai Filler
ABSTRACT
AC-BC is a layer that is not directly related to the weather but must have sufficient thickness and stiffness to withstand the existing traffic loads, therefore by using sawdust ash and coconut shell charcoal as filler. The AC-BC pavement mixture is expected to improve pavement performance in terms of the Marshall parameter value. This study discusses the characteristics of marshall by comparing the AC-BC mixture using sawdust ash and coconut shell charcoal ash as filler with a mixture without filler. In this study, the optimum KAO was 6.45% and Marshall characteristics with the addition of filler in the AC-BC mixture in a variety of fillers that met the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2 of 2020), sawdust ash 75%:25% coconut shell charcoal ash, sawdust ash 25%:75% coconut shell charcoal ash, sawdust ash 50%:50% coconut shell charcoal ash. The results test of the AC-BC mixture using filler with a mixture without filler showed the stability value obtained from the use showed an increased stability value compared to without filler which was 1.066,6 Kg and without filler, the result is 943,3 Kg. For stability, flow, VFA, VMA and MQ values have increased in all variations, while the VIM values have decreased and still meet the specifications used. The optimum percentage of sawdust ash and coconut shell charcoal ash for the AC-BC mixture is the percentage of sawdust ash 50%:50% of coconut shell charcoal ash because it has a high stability value and flow, VIM, VMA, and MQ that have met the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2 of 2020).
