Analisis Efektivitas Prediksi Pasang Surut Pesisir Kuala Kampar Menggunakan Metode Admiralty Dan Least Square
ABSTRACT
Kuala Kampar is one of the areas in Riau Province where the coastal area suffered damage to the jetty. Tidal data is used to obtain elevation in planning. In addition to being used for water building planning, it can also be used to predict early warning against tidal flooding due to the general pattern of water masses. Hydraulic structure design in the Kuala Kampar Coastal area requires tidal data as the basic data for determining the height of water structures. This study uses the admiralty and least square with a data length of 15 days. Based on the results of the analysis, the type of tide in the Kuala Kampar Coast isMixed Tide Prevailing Semidiurnalwith a value of 0.25 < F < 1.5 where the Formzahl numbers obtained are 0.378 and 0.399. The validation results of tidal elevation predictions from both methods were tested using the root mean square equation (RMSE), correlation coefficient (R), efficiency coefficient (CE) with the value of the admiralty ; 1,067; 0.566 and 0.887. While the value of the least square is; 1,119; 0.498 and 0.976. Based on these results, the admiralty is more accurate than the least squares based on RMSE and correlation. But the least square is more efficiency than the admiralty based on CE.
