SELF-REGULATED LEARNING IN CORRELATION WITH THE NATIONAL FINAL EXAM CBT SCORE OF RIAU UNIVERSITY MEDICINE FACULTY STUDENTS

Self-regulated learning is defined as the modulation of affective, cognitive, and behavioral processes throughout the learning experience to achieve the desired level of achievement by self-controlling the learning process. The general purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self-regulated learning and CBT scores for the national final exam of the Medicine Faculty Students, University of Riau. The data was obtained from the transcript of the UKMPPD CBT exam results for the May–August 2021 period and the results of measuring the ability of self-regulated learning through questionnaires in previous studies. The design of this research was analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The respondents of this study were students participating in UKMPPD from May to August 2021, totaling 43 people. The results were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The p value was 0.196 > α value 0.05. The conclusion was that there was no correlation between self-regulated learning scores and CBT scores for the national final exam of students in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau.
