ABSTRACT
Railways street is an undivided 2-lane 2-way collector road (2/2 UD) with a road width of 6.9 m which is located in Wonorejo Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. Railways is decreasing due to population growth, the number of motorized vehicles and activities on the right and left of the road, so that the ratio between traffic volume and road capacity becomes high which can lead to congestion. To prove this hypothesis, a study was carried out using the direct survey method, data calculation using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual method, 1997 for inner-city roads, the study was conducted to obtain data and to identify existing problems, so that it can be seen that Railways Street. Based on the research results it is known that the peak traffic volume of Jalan Railways occurs on Friday afternoon peak hours at 16.00 – 17.00 at 524,2 pcu / hour and road capacity is 2,026 pcu / hour with a DS value of 0.25 and a travel speed of 41,32 km / hour. Railways street Kota Pekanbaru is categorized at service level B where the Stable flow ( delay doesn’t stop)
