Analisis Energy, Exergy - Economic Dan Environment Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas (PLTG) 4x6 MW Badan Operasi Bersama (Bob) Pt. Bumi Siak Pusako - Pertamina Hulu
The objectives of this research are to analyze the energy and exergy of the
4x6 MW Gas Power Plant which has been operated by BOB PT. Bumi Siak
Pusako - Pertamina Hulu for 10 years to run production operations in two main
fields, namely Zamrud and Pedada which require high energy consumption. The
decline in oil production and the large operating costs at CPP Block BOB PT.
Bumi Siak Pusako - Pertamina Hulu caused a reduction in company profits and a
decrease in Local Revenue from Oil and Gas Revenue Sharing Funds. One effort
that can be made to maintain or increase company profits from production is to
reduce costs incurred during the production process. Energy and exergy analysis
can be carried out to determine the efficiency of energy use by determining the
energy and exergy balance and points of loss due to exergy-destruction on a
system and operating equipment. Furthermore, the exergy analysis is combined
with economic analysis (exergo-economic) to calculate the energy costs used and
the cost losses due to the amount of exergy-destruction.
Energy and exergy analysis was carried out on each of the main components
of the Gas Power Plant, namely the compressor, combustion chamber, and
turbine. From the calculation results, the location of the largest average exergy
loss in the combustion chamber component is 18.7 kW, then the compressor is 7.1
kW, and the gas turbine is 2.69 kW. With the value of the cost loss for each
component is a compressor worth Rp. 19,074,300/hour, combustion chamber
worth Rp. 27,471,920/hour, and a gas turbine worth Rp. 2,979,060/hour. Exhaust
emissions produced by the generator are for CO2 of 0.21 kg/s or 0.1425 kg/kWh,
with a total forest area required to absorb an area of 11.63 ha, of which 31,480
ha are available (source: district government). Siak) and below the CO2 emission
coefficient of 1.002 kg/kWh. And the waste heat released into the environment
with an average temperature of 738.54 K/unit is 7654.04 kW.
