Sufiks Bahasa Melayu Riau Dialek Kuantan Singingi Subdialek Benai

This study aims to describe the function of the Riau Malay suffix in the Kuantan Singingi dialect of the Benai sub-dialect. This research is a qualitative research. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in Kuantan Singingi District, Benai District. The data collection techniques used in this research are listening, engaging and proficient techniques. In this study, the data were validated using the source triangulation technique. There are 7 functions of the Riau Malay suffix in the Kuantan Singingi sub-dialect of Benai, namely (1) the function of forming transposition verbs from nouns, (2) the function of forming transpositional verbs from adjectives, (3) the function of forming verbs from verbs. , (4) the function of forming transpositional nouns from adjectives, (5) functions of forming transpositional nouns of verbs, (6) functions of forming nouns from nouns, and (7) functions of forming transpositional verbs of numerals.
