Pengujian Mesin Pengering Pakaian Menggunakan Tiga Tipe Air Conditioner Berkapasitas ½ Pk Dengan Sistem Terbuka

ABSTRACT
Main object of this research is to perform experimental test on a clothes dryer using an air conditioning system. The air conditioning system varied into three type which is split type, windows type and portable type. This research has to be done using pre heat for 30 minutes before examination started. Examination was conducted to obtain the performance parameters of SMER, SEC and Drying Rate. For split ac result, SMER value is 1,130 kg/kWh - 1,928 kg/kWh, SEC value is 0,885 kg/kWh - 0,519 kWh/kg and drying rate value is 0,640 kg/hour - 0,995 kg/hour. For windows ac result, SMER value is 1.030 kg/kWh - 1.786 kg/kWh, SEC value is 0.971 kWh/kg - 0.560 kWh/kg and drying rate value is 0.529 kg/hour - 0.865 kg/hour. And the for portable ac result, SMER value is 1.205 kg/kWh - 1.911 kg/kWh, SEC value is 0.830 kWh/kg - 0.523 kWh/kg and drying rate value is 0.568 kg/hour - 0.653 kg/hour.
