Pengembangan Media Wire Line Animals Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Sains Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Science ability is an important aspect in achieving early childhood cognitive development. The development of wire line animals media is designed and produced to improve the scientific abilities of children aged 5-6 years which are currently not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of wire line animals designed and produced in an effort to improve the scientific ability of children aged 5-6 years. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) research using the Borg & Gall model. The types of data collected and analyzed are quantitative data from the validation results of 2 (two) experts (PGPAUD Study Program lecturers) and validation from 5 (five) users of learning media (PAUD teachers who have professional education certification). From this validator also obtained qualitative data in the form of suggestions for improvement and criticism. The results of research and development (R&D) of wire line animals media from the assessment of expert validators and media users that wire line animals media designed and produced from the material aspects of expert validation 1 and 2 obtained a percentage of 82%, this is categorized as "Very feasible". Likewise, the results of the media aspect validation from 1 and 2 experts obtained a percentage of 81%, included in the "Very decent" category. Then, the validation results from users (PAUD teachers) about teaching materials in the media obtained an assessment result with a percentage of 89.6%, included in the "Very feasible" category; Likewise, the validation results regarding the media design aspect obtained results with a percentage of 90% included in the "Very feasible" category. So, the results of this study can be concluded that the wire line animals media which are designed and produced through R&D are very suitable to be used to improve the scientific ability of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD.
