Analisis Persepsi Orang Tua Terhadap Kesiapan Sekolah Anak Usia Dini Pada Masa New Normal Di TK An-Namiroh Pusat Kota Pekanbaru
Perception is the opinion of an individual in conveying and interpreting information based on the five senses around him. Parents' perceptions of school readiness become dominant when determining a child's readiness for school. When deciding whether or not their child is ready for school, parents rely heavily on their own conception of what readiness means. This study intends to describe information about parents' perceptions of early childhood school readiness during the new normal period in AN-Namiroh Kindergarten, Pekanbaru City Center. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive method is a research method that utilizes qualitative and descriptive data carried out at AN-Namiroh Kindergarten, Pekanbaru city center. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. There are various kinds of readiness needed to learn in the new normal and parents have an important role to play in helping their children get there. The findings of this study revealed that parents' estimates of their children's readiness for school varied significantly across academic, social, emotional and physical motor indicators, namely that parents understood and perceived school readiness well in the new normal.
