The background of this research is that study entitled Audience Response to the Drama Series My Lecturer My Husband by Gitlicious. The problem in this research is how is the audience's response to the drama My Lecturer My Husband by Gitlicious? This study aims to analyze the audience's response to the drama My Lecturer My Husband by Gitlicious. The benefits of this research are that it can increase understanding, knowledge, thoughts about films, social conflict, sociology of literature, character learning, and learning Indonesian Language and Literature at the high school level or the equivalent of class XI with KD 3.18 identifying the story line, chapter by chapter, and conflict in the drama that is read or watched. This type of research is a qualitative research, using a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study is qualitative data, because the data from the research that the authors get is in the form of sentences or dialogues. The results of the study explain the audience's responses to the drama which are divided into four according to the types of responses. The types of responses are divided into four, namely transparent, referential, mediation and discursive. Then the total data found is 80 data.
