Deiksis Persona, Deiksis Tempat, Dan Deiksis Waktu Dalam Novel Bumi Cinta Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy

This study aims to describe the use of deixis types and identify the functions of deixis
in the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Qualitative research with
descriptive method. The results of this study are the words and sentences in the novel
Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The analysis techniques in this study are
data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Regarding the research
results found in this study, namely 226 deixis data. The data found in the novel Bumi
Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy are persona deixis, place deixis, and time deixis.
Then the function is the personal deixis function which leads to someone who is
speaking, leads to the person who is the speech partner, or leads to someone who is
being spoken. Furthermore, the deixis function of place is a function that leads to a
place that is not far from the speaker and a function that is far from the speaker. There
is also a time deixis function, namely a function that refers to a time when the
conversation takes place and a function that refers before when the speech takes
place.
