Gaya Bahasa Sindiran Dalam Acara Mata Najwa Kisruh Partai Demokrat 2021

This study aims to describe the types and meanings of satirical language styles in the 2021 Mata Najwa Kisruh Democratic Party. This research is a qualitative research. This research uses descriptive research method. The source of the data in this study was the Mata Najwa talk show obtained from the Youtube site. The data in this study amounted to 88 data with details: 36 satires of cynicism, 8 satires of sarcasm, 9 satires of irony, 28 satires of satire, and 6 satires of innuendo. This study also found 5 meanings contained in 88 satirical language style data in the Mata Najwa Kisruh Partai Demokrat 2021, namely: contextual meaning based on person, contextual meaning based on situation, contextual meaning regarding objects that focus on the topic of discussion, contextual meaning regarding mood , contextual meaning regarding time and regarding place. The satire language style applied by the sources leads to cynic satire language style. The use of satire has the aim of conveying an impression and giving a certain effect to the interlocutor so that the meaning of the speech is properly conveyed.
