Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Dengan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Pada Materi Lingkaran Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP/Mts
This research aims to produce learning tools (syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheet) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on the circle material that are valid and practical to facilitate the ability of students’ mathematical understanding. The model of development used is 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Dissminate). The subjects of one to one evaluation in this study were three 8th grade students junior high school and six heterogeneous students as small group evaluation subjects. The Instruments used include: (1) Syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheet validation sheets; and (2) Questionnaire student response to Student ativity sheet. The learning tools that have been compiled are then validated by three validators and revised according to suggestions from the validators. The validation results from three validators show that the syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheet are valid with and average score in a row 98,86%, 95,27%, and 90,84%. Student activity sheet practicality shows an average percentage of 84,98% with practical criteria. The results of this study indicate that the learning tools based on RME to the circle material is very valid and practical to facilitate students in developing students’ mathematical understanding abilities.
