Upaya Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Emosional(EQ) Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Melalui Metode Bercerita Dengan Media Pop Up Book Di Ra Menara Qur’an Pujud Rokan Hilir Riau
This research is motivated by the need to increase emotional intelligence (EQ) of children at the age of 5-6 years through the storytelling method using the Pop Up Book media. The storytelling method is one of the techniques or ways to advise people and is easily understood by children or adults. A pop-up book is a book that displays three-dimensional or raised shapes so that children's interest in listening to stories increases. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in several cycles consisting of 4 components, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The technique used in data collection is the method of observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is to use a percentage analysis of each observation sheet. This method was applied to 16 students at RA Menara Qur'an Pujud, Rokan Hilir, Riau. The results obtained from the application of the storytelling method increased with the percentage from cycle 1 to meeting 1, namely 31.25%, MB 30%, BSB 20%, BSH 18.75%, in cycle 1 meeting 2, namely BB 21.25%, MB 26, 25%, BSB 31.25%, BSH 22.5%, in cycle 2 meeting 1 ie BB 5%, MB 17.5%, BSB 25%, BSH 52.5% and in cycle 2 meeting 2 ie BB 0% , MB 3.75%, BSB 22.5%, BSH 73.75%. This shows that the storytelling method using Pop Up Book media can increase the emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years.
