Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SDN Kecamatan Kubu Babussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work
environment on the performance of SDN teachers in Kubu Babussalam District,
Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that teachers
do not have optimal performance. There are still many teachers who carry out
their duties and their performance is not in accordance with the tasks given. The
state of performance that has not been optimal, in this study, was analyzed by
connecting the concepts of leadership style and work environment. The leadership
factor plays an important role because it is the leader who will drive and direct
the organization in achieving its goals and at the same time it is not an easy task.
A conducive work environment provides a sense of security and allows teachers to
work optimally
This type of research is quantitative, the sample is 121 teachers. Data were
collected by using a questionnaire to determine five choices and then the data
were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study
found that the influence of leadership style on teacher performance was 19.2%,
which was at a weak level. The magnitude of the influence of the work
environment on teacher performance of 15.5% is at a weak level. The magnitude
of the influence of leadership style and work environment on teacher performance
by 35.2% is at a weak level. This finding concludes that the better the leadership
style and work environment, the better the teacher's performance. This research is
expected to be useful for improving the performance of teachers with leadership
styles and work environments in carrying out their obligations when carrying out
learning activities and fostering students in schools.
