Pengembangan E-Mind Map Berbasis Prezi Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Materi Animalia Biologi SMA
The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has
encouraged progress in the field of education. Progress in the field of education is
one of them in the form of electronic learning media that can help students in the
learning process online or through e-learning. E-learning learning media are
used as teaching aids or supporting facilities in carrying out the learning process,
both in the form of tools and electronic applications to achieve learning
objectives. Based on interviews and problem analysis in schools, the average use
of learning media by teachers in the form of power points has not been the
development of other media in the learning process, especially in e-learning
learning media.
Analysis of the problems faced by teachers and students at school in class X
biology learning material is Animalia. This is due to the wide and difficult range
of materials. Difficult material causes low interest in learning and Student
learning outcomes in Animalia material. Referring to the analysis of the problems
that have been described, one of the media that can help is e-learning media in
the form of e-mind maps or Prezi-based electronic mind maps. The development
of Prezi-based e-mind map learning media aims to determine the validity,
practicality, interest, and learning outcomes of students from the development of
Prezi-based e-mind maps on high school biology animal material.
The research was conducted at the Biology Education Master's Degree Study
Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Riau University,
and SMA Negeri 1 Rambah. This study uses the ADDIE development model
(Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) by Dick Walter and Lou
Carey. The data analysis technique used is in the form of validation tests,
practicality tests, interest tests, and student learning outcomes.
The results of the validation of the Prezi-based e-mind map development on
media were 3.67, material validation was 3.73, construct validation was 3.67 and
overall a validation score of 3.69 was obtained with a very valid category. The
practicality results of the Prezi-based e-mind map developed for teachers were
95.3, students 85, and overall a practicality score of 90.2 with a very practical
category. The implementation of Prezi-based e-mind map learning media on
students' learning interests got a score of 82.6 in the high category and learning
outcomes got an n-gain score of 0.37 in the medium category.
Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded
that the Prezi-based e-mind map learning media on Animalia material is very
valid and very practical. Increase the interest of students with high categories and
medium learning outcomes.
