Analisis Minat Belajar Siswa-Siswi Di Pulau Tangguh Kecamatan Belakang Padang Kota Batam Provinsi Kepulauan Riau

Education in Indonesia is still low because the distribution of facilities and infrastructure is still uneven,
especially in underdeveloped coastal areas, one of which is in Tangguh Island. This study aims to
determine the interest in learning and the factors that influence the interest in learning of students on the
island Tangguh. Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The
approach of this research is descriptive quantitative where the population and sample in this study are
all 30 elementary, junior high and high school students on Tangguh Island. The data analysis technique
in this study used the formula P = f/x 100% then the research results were grouped according
to the percentage of respondents' answers. The results showed that the students' interest in learning on
Tangguh Island was in the Very High category and the main factor that influenced the interest in
learning to be very high was ideals.
