Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci Ta 2022/2023
The low learning activity of students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1
Pangkalan Kerinci is caused by the teacher in learning that has not used the right
model so that students are less active when participating in the learning process
and ultimately results in low student understanding of history learning materials.
This study aims to determine teacher activities, student activities, and student
learning activities after applying the Rotating Trio Exchange learning model in
class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. This research is Classroom
Action Research (CAR), namely, action research carried out in the classroom with
the aim of improving and improving the quality of classroom learning by teachers
to students in a systematic, objective, and reflective manner in dealing with
problems in class. The results of this study concluded that in the first cycle the
student's activity value was 76.25 and increased in the second cycle, which was
104.5. In this case, it can be proven that there is an increase in the value of student
activity from cycle I to cycle II, which is 28.25. Teacher activity in the first cycle
scored 68.8% (enough) and increased in the second cycle to 87.5% (very good).
While for student learning activities in the first cycle is 50.7 and increased in the
second cycle is 76.9. In this case, it can be proven that there is an increase from
cycles I and II of 26.2.
