Abstract
The study was aimed to analyze the effect of self-capacity and business management through government support on business performance in Patin Village, Koto Mesjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This research was conducted in June 2022. The variables used in this study were self-capacity and business management as independent variables, business performance as the dependent variable and government support as a mediator variable. This study uses a survey method using causal relationship research. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire. Data from the four variables were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart-PLS (Partial Least Square) version 3.0. The sampling technique of this research is the saturated sampling technique (census). The number of samples used in this study were 50 respondents of catfish cultivators. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the influence of self-capacity has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Business management has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Self-capacity has a positive and significant effect on business performance through government support. Business management has no positive and significant effect on business performance through government support. Government support has a positive and significant effect on business performance.
