Pengembangan E-Booklet Berbasis Discovery Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Sistem Koordinasi Biologi SMA
A learning process is said to be good, if the learning process can
generate effective learning activities. In this case it needs to be realized, the
problem that determines is not the method or technique when teaching in the
classroom but how students succeed in gaining understanding during the
procedure. Teachers are accustomed to using conventional learning media so
that students tend to be bored and do not follow learning well, so that students'
interest and learning outcomes are low. This happened to class XI students at
SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir, where students tend to play and not focus in the
learning process so that interactive learning media are needed that can increase
student interest and learning outcomes. This can be overcome by using
interactive learning media, namely e-booklets. Learning using character-based ebooklets
and integrated with technology is expected to be a new color for
students to carry out more enjoyable learning.
The development of learning media in the form of digital e-booklets
uses research and development methods. where the development of an e-booklet
based on Discovery Learning was carried out using the ADDIE model. The
collection of interest data and learning outcomes was carried out by
questionnaires, observations, interviews and through cognitive tests. . students'
interest in learning was measured using a questionnaire and student learning
outcomes using 25 multiple choice questions. This research consists of two
stages, namely the first stage of developing an E-booklet based on Discovery
Learning and the second stage of implementing or experimenting an E-booklet
based on Discovery Learning.
Based on the results of validation by experts, the average score is 3.6
with a very valid category and is suitable for use as a learning medium. In the
practicality test, it obtained an average of 3.8 with a very valid category. The
learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA N 2 Rambah Hilir, with an
average score of 77.4 are in the very good category. The conclusion of this study
showed that the level of interest and learning outcomes of class XI students at
SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir increased before and after the provision of
Discovery Learning-based E-booklets. So it is feasible to use in the learning
process.
E-booklets in the discovery learning model on the coordination system material
affect the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA N 2 Rambah Hilir, with
an average value of 77.4 including the very good category. And get the N-Gain
value with an average of 0.5 good category
