Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Peserta Didik Pada Materi Program Linear Kelas XI SMA/Ma
Mathematics includes many symbols that represent certain meanings so
that good mathematical communication skills are needed to be able to convey
mathematical language correctly. However, students' mathematical
communication skills are still relatively low and assume that mathematics is a
difficult subject to learn. The research aims to develop mathematics learning
instruments such as syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheets using problembased
learning model to facilitate students' mathematic communication ability on
linear program’s topic for 11th grade senior high school which qualify the validities
and practicalities. This research used Research and Development (R&D) model
with a 4D procedure which consists of four-stage: define, design, develop and
disseminate. The research instrument that used in this research are learning
instrument validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The learning
tools developed were validated by three validators (validity test) and revised based
on validator’s suggestion. The average percentage of validation result for Syllabus
is 4.00, lesson plan (RPP) 3.82, and student activity sheet (LKPD) 3.68, so the
learning tools are categorized as very valid. Then, a small group trial were
conducted of the student activity sheeet which was developed on six students of MAS
Al-Ihsan Pekanbaru (practicality test). The average practicaly percentage for
student activity sheet is 86.9% with a very practical category. The research results
show that the developed learning instruments qualify the validities and
practicalities.
