Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP/Mts Pada Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel
The purpose of this study was to develop a learning media that have been tested for their
validity and practicality to be used in the learning process. The learning media developed
are the Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and Student Worksheets (LKPD)
using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and a scientific approach. Type of this
study is research and development using 4D development model (Define, Design,
Development and Disseminate). Data collection techniques in this study are interviews,
observation of learning tools, observation of learning activities, validation sheets of
learning tools and questionnaires of student responses. The results of this study showed,
the learning tools had developed already higher of minimum criteria of being valid
and practical with a score of ≥2.50 in each aspect tested. The average results of
validation activities are: (1) syllabus 3.85 in the very valid category; (2) lesson
plans 3.81 in the very valid category; and (3) LKPD 3.70 also in the very valid
category. The subjects of the research 9 students of Class VIII Islamic boarding
school. Manhajjussalikin Rokan Hulu, Riau in the small group trial and 22 students
of class VIII SMP Ar-Riyadh Siak, Riau in the large group trial. The results
obtained during the trial were 1) small group trial is, 3.03 in the practical category
and 2) large trial is, 3.38 in the very practical category. Based on the results of the analysis
on product validation and trial activities, the development tools have been valid and
practical and can be used in learning activities.
