Simulasi Optimasi Waduk Selayar Dalam Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Air Baku Air Minum
ABSTRACT
Reservoir is a place on the ground surface that is used to store water when excess water occurs or during the rainy season so that the water can be used during the dry season. One of the reservoirs intended to accommodate or store excess water is the Selayar Reservoir located in Lingga District, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands, Indonesia. Utilization of the Selayar Reservoir is intended for household interests, namely the need for raw water for drinking water so that the availability of reservoir water must be managed properly so that it can be used optimally. This study aims to analyze the reliability of the Selayar reservoir based on existing conditions and optimal utilization of the Selayar reservoir using the reservoir simulation method. The analytical method used is the F.J.Mock method for water availability analysis, water balance analysis for the wet season, normal season, dry season and the reservoir simulation method. The result of this research is the reliability of the reservoir in meeting the demand for raw water for drinking water. Optimal utilization of reservoirs for raw water needs for drinking water. The result of optimizing this reservoir is that initially it can meet the raw water needs of 10 liters/second drinking water, which can be increased to 12 liters/second.
