Pengaruh Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Terhadap Karakter Tanggung Jawab Siswa SMP N 3 Pekanbaru

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that shows the low character of
student responsibility at SMP N 3 Pekanbaru. Based on a literature study
conducted by researchers, scout extracurriculars are one of the efforts to
improve students' responsible character. So that researchers are interested in
conducting research with the title the influence of scout extracurriculars on
the character of the responsibilities of SMP N 3 Pekanbaru students. The
formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of
scout extracurricular activities on the character of the responsibilities of SMP
N 3 Pekanbaru students. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative
method, namely processing data in the form of numbers which are then
drawn conclusions and then described. The population in this study
amounted to 586 students. Withdrawal of a sample of 15% of the total
population into 88 samples, consisting of 30 class VII students, 29 class VIII
students, and 29 class IX students of SMP N 3 Pekanbaru, using the
Proportional Sampling Technique. Based on the results of the study it can be
concluded that: There is a positive influence between scout extracurriculars
on the character of students responsibilities at SMP N 3 Pekanbaru
