Pengaruh Lingkungan Sosial Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas X Pada Mata Pelajaran PPKN Di SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang
This research is motivated by a phenomenon that appears based on observations made by researchers while carrying out School Field Introduction (PLP) activities at SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang. Based on the results of the pre-survey that there was a lack of motivation to learn from students, it was seen that when studying in class, many students did not pay attention to the teacher when delivering the material, some went in and out of the class repeatedly without asking permission first from the teacher who was delivering material in front of the class and there were several students who sleep in class during the teaching and learning process. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the social environment on the learning motivation of class X students in civic education subjects at SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang. The benefits of this research are theoretical benefits, namely this research is expected to contribute to the field of education, especially those related to writing scientific papers. Practical benefits for researchers is to increase knowledge, insight and understanding of the factors that can affect student motivation. The population of this study were all students of SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, totaling 118 students. The sample in this study were 30 people with a sampling technique, namely Proportional Random Sampling, then random sampling. Data collection methods are questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing with statistical analysis with a simple linear regression formula. Based on the results of research on the influence of the social environment on the learning motivation of students of SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the social environment on the learning motivation of students of SMAN 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, namely 44.4% in the range of 25.01% - 50% which is included in the category of "Enough Good".
