Hubungan Screen Time Dengan Kemampuan Sosial Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Kelurahan Sukaramai Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between screen time and the social abilities of children aged 5-6 years in TK Sukaramai, Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative research with a correlation research type. The study population was 70 children aged 5-6 years in Sukaramai Pekanbaru Kindergarten, the sample used was 70 children. This research is a quantitative correlation study with the Chi Square correlation test and nominal data characteristics with the help of IMB SPSS ver. 26. Based on the results of the
calculation of the correlation test, the Chi Square value is 14,469a with a probability of 0.006. This shows that there is a relationship between screen time and the social abilities of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten, Sukaramai sub-district, Pekanbaru. The Chi Square value indicates that there is a negative relationship between the Screen Time variable and Children's Social Ability. To test the significance of the relationship, it can be seen through the results of analysis with Pearson Chi Square, by looking at the obtained Chi Square (Sig) value.
