This research is entitled Javanese Proverbs: Analysis of Inquisitive Semantic Studies. This research is motivated by the use of various plant lexeme objects in Javanese proverbs as figurative symbols. The purpose of this study is to find out what plant lexemes are used in Javanese proverbs, what are their meanings based on inquisitive semantics, and is there a philosophy of life behind these plant lexemes in Javanese proverbs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used document review in the form of a book of 1800 Javanese proverbs written by Muhammad A. Syuropati as a document archive that was reviewed using reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique was in the form of data reduction with the process of selecting Javanese proverb plant lexeme data, simplifying the Javanese proverb plant lexeme data, classifying Javanese proverb plant lexeme data and transforming the data that emerged from written notes. The results of the research were that there were twelve classifications of plant lexemes in Javanese proverbs consisting of lexemes classifications of leaves, fruit, wild plants, vines, grass trees, woody stems, wet stems, rhizome plants, seeds, roots, flowers, modified stems. woody and wet trunk trees. Based on the data that has been classified, seven domains of life values are obtained, namely habit, sustenance, irony/ satire, vain, betrayal, cunning, kinship.
