Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Go-Lab Melalui Pendekatan Inquiry Dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Pada Materi Getaran Dan Gelombang Di Kelas VIII SMP It Al-Fityah Pekanbaru
Concept understanding is an important component in science learning. The level of concept understanding can be used as a measure of success in learning. The selection of learning media and approaches when conducting learning is expected to increase students' understanding of concepts. This study aims to determine the increase in understanding of concepts when applying Go-Lab through an inquiry approach. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment research with posttest only non-equivalent group design. The subjects of this study were 21 students of class VIII A as the control class and 21 students of class VIII B as the experimental class. The data collection instrument was in the form of a posttest result of understanding the concept of vibration and wave material for class VIII which consisted of 11 multiple choice questions. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative data analysis technique through the level of understanding. The results showed that students' understanding of concepts after learning using Go-Lab media through an inquiry approach on vibration and wave material experienced a significant increase
