Pengaruh Variasi Kecepatan Pembebanan Aksial Terhadap Nilai Kuat Tekan Beton Fc’ 16 Mpa
ABSTRACT
Material strength becomes an important sight because it is needed in structural design planning. In general, the compressive strength of concrete is influenced by the composition of the concrete, but it turns out that it is not only influenced by the composition of the concrete, but also by the speed of loading. The effect of variations in axial loading speed on the compressive strength of concrete fc' 16 MPa will be tested in this study. This test aims to determine the effect of variations in axial loading speed on the compressive strength of concrete and the resulting ratio to variations in standard loading speed (15 MPa/minute). Measurement of axial loading speed using a stopwatch. Based on ASTM C 39/C 39M-05 for a 15/30 cylindrical specimen the standard loading speed is 0.25 ± 0.05 MPa/second. This study used seven variations of axial loading speed, namely 3 MPa/minute, 5 MPa/minute, 10 MPa/minute, 15 MPa/minute, 20 MPa/minute, 25 MPa/minute and 30 MPa/minute. For each variation of loading speed, there are three cylindrical concrete specimens with a diameter of 15cm and a height of 30cm. The results showed that the greater the axial loading speed, the greater the resulting compressive strength. The ratio of the resulting compressive strength values at the loading speed variations under the standard variation (15 MPa/minute) has a greater ratio or a more significant effect on the concrete compressive strength value compared to the above standard loading speed variations.
