Analisis Penyetelan Sistem Proteksi Relai Diferensal Low Impedance Pada Double Busbar Single Breaker 150 Kv Di Gardu Induk Pt. Semen Padang
ABSTRACT
Busbar is a component in a substation which is a power meeting point or as a power concentration center. During operation, the busbar cannot be separated from abnormal conditions or disturbances. A disturbance to the busbar will have a much greater impact than a disturbance to the conductors. PT. Semen Padang substation has not used busbar protection in its operation because there is a possibility of mal-operation relai which can disrupt the power supply to the load. To avoid the mal-operation from happening, it is necessary to do an analysis to make adjustments to the relai. This study discusses the analysis of setting a low impedance differential relai protection system on a 150 kV double busbar single breaker at the PT. Semen Padang. The analysis is carried out by simulating a short circuit fault outside the busbar protection zone of the electrical system when the maximum load condition is on the ETAP 12.6.0 application and then adjusting the relai with reference to the magnitude of the differential current value and the largest percentage slope. The results of the analysis are used as a reference to determine the appropriate differential bus relai parameter settings. From this research, the recommendation for setting the differential bus relai parameters is Idiff 5 A and slope 30%.
