Analisis Pengaruh Debu Terhadap Produksi Energi Listrik Yang Dihasilkan Pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (Plts)
ABSTRACT
A solar power plant is a renewable power plant that uses energy derived from solar radiation. Solar radiation can be converted directly into electrical energy in a process commonly known as solar cells. Solar panels are also easily exposed to dust on the surface of the panels, which of course also affects the performance of the PLTS. This study aims to determine the effect of pollutants deposited on the surface of PV modules on the voltage, current, power and energy generated in the PLTS. This study used its components including 20Wp PLTS, DC voltage sensor, current sensor, solar radiation sensor, Arduino Mega, SD card and data logger. According to the research results, the dust used is dust (SiO2) with a mass of 50 grams and 100 grams of dust each. As for the voltage value, the voltage drop on the solar panel with dust pollutants on its surface is not very significant. At current and wattage values, more dust accumulation on the surface of solar panels would be accompanied by a significant reduction in power and current generated by the PLTS. The reduction in power is proportional to the decrease in the value of the current PLTS. According to the test results analyzing the effects of dust on the production of electrical energy generated at PLTS with 50 grams of dust pollutant, the average electrical energy produced is reduced by 21% and for PLTS with 100 grams dust pollutant, average power generation reduced. what is significant is equal to 32%.
