Pengaruh Perbedaan Nilai Aspek Rasio Vertikal Terhadap Kestabilan Struktur
ABSTRACT
The behavior of a building during an earthquake has a significant effect on the shape, size and geometry of the building. Tall buildings with a large vertical aspect ratio affect the response of the structure when resisting lateral forces. The purpose of this research is to analyze the response of the structure with the plan earthquake to the vertical aspect ratio, then it will model the reinforced concrete structure as many as 6 building models that have different vertical aspect ratios and is made by linear analysis method. This study examines the dynamic character of the structure in the form of natural period, against the earthquake load in the form of base shear, and structural displacement. The results of the structural natural period show that with each increase in the vertical aspect ratio, the structural period is also getting bigger and exceed the maximum period based on the SNI 1726-2019, seen in modeling 1 the result of the structural period is 1.24 and exceeds the maximum period of 1.17. The results showed that the base shear force did not have an impact in the form of an increase in force in each aspect ratio, this was due to the large structural period so that the earthquake acceleration that occurred was not in the maximum earthquake range. The results showed that the overturning moment has an impact in the form of an increase in each aspect ratio, this affects the mass of the structure which increases as well as the increase in displacement so that the resulting moment is also getting larger. The increase in the height of the structure has an impact on the greater displacement due to the lower stiffness of the structure so that when receiving lateral forces, taller structures experience greater sway, the largest displacement value occurs in aspect ratio 4.7 which is 135.8 mm. The inter-story drift of the building is relatively larger in aspect ratio 4.7 on the 3rd floor at 1.51%, but it is still in an elastic condition and meets the permit limit requirement of 2.5% based on SNI 1726-2019.. Critical seismic parameters are very influential on the vertical ratio aspect of the building because the nature of taller buildings that are slender and flexible will provide a relatively large response when earthquake forces occur.
