Kinerja Sistem Rangka Bangunan Gedung Bertingkat Dengan Soft Story Pada Lokasi Ibu Kota Baru
ABSTRACT
The relocation of the capital city to the province of East Kalimantan was based on the relatively small potential risk of an earthquake. Based on records, East Kalimantan has experienced a strong earthquake, so the risk of building failure must be considered. In general, structural system failure can occur due to a level that cannot dissipate energy well enough or is referred to as a soft story which can occur due to geometry and dimensions. In order to study the potential impact of soft stories due to changes in the stiffness of a structure, a reinforced concrete structure will be modelled with 3 models of changes in the stiffness of a story sourced from changes in the dimensions of column elements and analyzed by Linear Analysis and Non-Linear Analysis Pushover. The results show in the linear elastic analysis that a floor with a small stiffness will give drift ratio a relatively large soft story can occur. For model 1 where the drift ratio is (0.54%. 0.54%) on the 1st floor. For Model 2 where the drift ratio is (0.24%. 0.23%) on the 2nd floor. Meanwhile for Model 3 where the drift ratio is (0.24% 0.23%) on the 3rd floor. For conditions of non-linear analysis with the pushover shows that soft story has occurred with the condition that the drift ratio exceeds the drift ratio of the structure permit (2.5%). The drift ratio in inelastic conditions is (3.95% 3.04%) for model 1 on the 1st floor, (2.57% 2.71%) for model 2 on the 2nd floor and (2.94% 2, 87%) for model 3 on floor 3. Based on FEMA 440 Performance Levels on 3 modelling shows the Immediate Occupancy (Io) level where the ratio of displacement at performance point to total height is less than 1%..
