Rancangan Modul Ajar Fase D Kelas VII SMP Konten Analisa Data Dan Peluang Untuk Memfasilitasi Elemen Kecakapan Komunikasi Dan Representasi Matematis Dalam Menyiapkan Implementasi Kurikulum Paradigma Baru
The research on the development of this teaching module was motivated by the
existence of a new paradigm curriculum as the government's effort to deal with learning
loss caused by distance learning during the co-19 pandemic. The instructional modules
in the new paradigm curriculum are media tools/means, methods, instructions and
guidelines that are designed systematically and attractively. The components in
compiling instructional modules are divided into three types, namely 1) General
information; 2) Core components; and 3) Attachments. The instructional modules
prepared by the teacher are very influential in the implementation of learning in the
classroom because they can guide the teacher in teaching students understanding. This
becomes the basis for how important it is to develop instructional modules because
instructional modules are part of the process of implementing learning and the use of
instructional modules can make students have meaningful knowledge.
This study aims to develop a phase D instructional module on valid data
analysis content and probability for class VII students in the implementation of the new
paradigm curriculum. This type of research is development research using the 4D
development model (Define, Design, Develop, Dessiminate). The define includes a
beginning-end analysis, student analysis, concept analysis, task analysis and
specification of learning objectives. The analysis carried out at the define based on the
results of interviews with teachers regarding instructional modules and student
proficiency tests which were then adjusted to learning outcomes and the profile of
Pancasila students. The design is carried out by compiling the flow of learning
objectives, making the initial design of the module which includes selecting media,
selecting formats, and initial designs. The flow of objectives is a fusion of learning
outcomes and the design of instructional modules is adjusted to the components of
teaching modules. The develop includes the development of instructional modules
according to the initial design and product validation and product revisions.
This module is declared valid if the minimum level of validity achieved based
on the results of the validator's assessment is included in the valid category with a
scale. the value of 3.94 which can be seen from the aspects of the instructional module
is complete so that the instructional module is valid for testing.
The readability results of the instructional modules in the limited trial on
LKPD were 96.77% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality of
instructional modules in field trials based on student response questionnaires were
75.02% in the practical category. The dessiminate carried out by creating articles for
publication. In this development research, the researcher limited the instructional
modules to the content of data analysis and probability for class VII students of
SMP/MTs using the PBL learning model. Meanwhile, mathematics learning modules
can still be developed with learning models and other content.

The development research carried out has produced a product in the form of
instructional modules to facilitate students' communication skills and mathematical
representation in data analysis content and probability for phase D class VII SMP/MTs.
Instructional modules are declared valid through a validation process and declared
practical based on limited trials and field trials.
