Pengaruh Kombinasi Poc Azolla Sp. Dan Intensitas Cahaya Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Biomassa Dunaliella Sp. Pada Uji Skala Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
Growth of Dunaliella sp is affected by environmental condition and nutrient present in the media. To understand the effect of liquid fertilizer made from fermented Azolla sp and light intensity on the growth of Dunaliella sp, a study has been conducted on April 2022. There was a CRD, with two treatments of liquid fertilizer dosages, namely P1 (0.62 ml/L), P2 (1.86 ml/L), P3 (3.10 ml/L), and 3 different light intensities, namely C1 (3722 lux), C2 (5234 lux) and C3 (7823 lux). There was 3 replications/ treatment. The algae was reared in 4L plastic bottles that were completed with aerators. Algae growth was studied everyday for 10 days period. Parameters measured were growth and the biomass of the microalgae. Results shown that the highest population of Dunaliella sp cells was obtained in P2C2 (1.86 ml/L and 5234 lux), reaching 2,700,000 cells/ml, while the lowest was in P1C2 (0,62 ml/L and 5234 lux) reaching 700,000 cells/ml. The highest biomass was obtained in P2C3 (1.86 ml/L and 7823 lux), it was 0.36 g/L and the lowest biomass was in P3C1 (3.10 ml/L and 20 3722 lux), it was 0.27 g/L.
