Efek Hg Dan Cr Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kandungan Klorofil-A Pada Mikroalga Dunaliella Sp.
ABSTRACT
Heavy metals in water can be included in hazardous and toxic materials when found in high concentrations. Mercury (Hg) and Chromium (Cr) are dangerous heavy metals if it enters a body of water, it will affect aquatic organisms. This study aims to determine the effect of heavy metals Hg and Cr on the growth of Dunaliella sp. through the value of IC50 96 hours, LOEC and NOEC, and chlorophyll-a content after being given Hg and Cr toxicants. The research was carried out from March to May 2022 at the Waste Treatment Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Riau University, Pekanbaru. The method used in this study was experimental. The results shown that Dunaliella sp. died on the 14th day, The IC50 value of Hg is 0.0449 mg/L / L, NOEC 0.1 mg / L, and LOEC was 0.18 mg / L. while in heavy metals, Cr IC50 values were 0.0469 mg / L, LOEC 0.032 mg / L, NOEC values
