Kandungan Logam Berat Cd Dan Cr Pada Insang, Otot Dan Tulang Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus) Dari Dua Danau Oxbow Di Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kampar

Abstract
Lubuk Siam is one of the Oxbow lake in Kampar district. It is the habitat of Baung fish (Hemibagrus Nemurus) which has the high economic value. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of heavy metals (Cd and Cr) in the organs (gills, muscles, and bones) of Baung fish in this lake. The sample of fish from Lubuk Siam lake were collected and destructed according to the procedures and the concentrations of heavy metals (Cd and Cr) were analyzed after the acid extracted and tested by using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) Shimadzu AA – 7000 flame type. The results showed that the arrange of the highest and the lowest of heavy metals in Baung were: Cr>Cd. In the heavy metals Cd: gills> muscle> bone> and Cr: bone> gills> muscle, the concentration in each part of the organs is still deserve for consumption. The level of bioconcentration and bioaccumulation of both heavy metals in the organs of this Baung fish is categorized as low.
