ABSTRACT
Hydroponics is a farming method without using soil as a planting medium. There are several kinds of techniques in hydroponics, one of which is the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) where this system uses water media containing nutrients. This hydroponic garden tool is useful for helping people in vegetable gardening, this tool can farm easily and efficiently without using labor, namely just monitoring the tools and the garden. The research entitled "Automation of Water Circulation in Hydroponic Gardens Based on Arduino Uno" aims to design a water circulation controller in hydroponic gardens. This tool works automatically using the help of sensors such as TDS sensors, ultrasonic sensors, relays and Arduino Uno as the brain of the program. Hydroponic circulation turns on and off automatically controlled by the RTC as a marker of the working time of the tool. Hydroponic circulation works from 07.00 to 17.00 WIB. The hydroponic water storage system is controlled by an ultrasonic sensor which functions to adjust the height and distance of the nutrient liquid or reservoir liquid, making it easier to monitor by looking at the 20×4 LCD screen. The distance applied is that when the water distance is 11 cm the water pump will turn on and at a distance of 7 cm the water pump will stop. Vegetables used in hydroponic gardens are mustard greens (pakcoy) with a fertilizer concentration of approximately 1000 ppm displayed on the LCD screen.
