Pengaruh Penggunaan Resin Akrilik Terhadap Durabilitas Beton Polimer
ABSTRACT
This research aims to develop the durability of acrylic polymer concrete. In this study, the durability of concrete investigated is concrete strength, concrete impermeability and corrosion of concrete reinforcement. The strength of concrete is shown by testing the compressive strength of concrete and the tensile strength of concrete. The experimental results showed an increase in concrete strength when using 20% acrylic and decreased significantly when using 30% and 40% acrylic. The compressive strength value of concrete with the use of 20% acrylic is 23.20 MPa and the tensile strength value is 2.22 MPa. Results The porosity value of concrete still decreased when using 40% acrylic. The porosity value of concrete when using 40% acrylic is 12.06%. A decrease in the percentage value of the porosity of the concrete indicates that the impermeability of the concrete has increased. Identification of corrosion of concrete reinforcement is demonstrated by testing the half-cell potential. The experimental results showed that concrete with the addition of acrylic resin experienced an increase in corrosion on concrete reinforcement.
